You will be provided with everything you need once you get to the boat, but we still recommend taking some extra cash, a towel, camera, and some clothes just in case.
The spearfishing adventure usually lasts for 4 to 5 hours. If you meet with your captain around 4 AM, you can expect to be back around 10 or 11 AM. As for the grilling session, you can align on the time that works for you with your captain.
We recommend heading out at 4AM. During the early morning, fish tend to be more active as they search for food after a night of rest. They are more likely to be actively feeding during this time, increasing your chances of a successful catch. However, the Rumpons(FAD's) that we're visiting are usually filled with fishermen in the morning, and we run our tours from 1pm to avoid getting you stuck on a hook, safety first!
Of course! We're offering better prices for those who don't need to rent out.
It depends on the trip that you choose. If you opt-in for Open Water Spearfishing, you'll have the high likelyhood of catching a Mahi-Mahi, Barracuda, Wahoos and Amberjacks. If you have some experience, and decide to head out to Gili Selang, you can expect to catch Groupers, Dogtooth Tuna, Giant Trevally, and an occasional lucky Barracuda.
It is, however it might not be necessary. If you're located in Amed, we'll pick you up with a boat wherever you are. In case that you're located a bit further, please reach out, and we'll organize a ride at very affordable pricing.
